The IKOUII Creative "100 under $100" Art Show 2022

I am pleased to announce that two of my watercolor art prints have been selected to appear in IKOUI's "100 under $100" art show, a virtual exhibition showcasing 100 small artworks in all media and all priced under $100. The watercolor prints "You are the love of your own life" that were selected are from my poetry series which I have different variations of and "You Have Everything, So Hold On." These art prints started off as sketches in my moleskine sketchbook and which I then adapted into different styles. They are beautifully illustrated pieces with a deeply empowering message, featuring line from my poems, the first one is from my poem titled "To my younger self" and the second one is from my poem titled "First Love."

The Ikouii Creative is a disability-led organization based in Atlanta, Georgia committed to providing opportunities for disabled artists and transforming cultural institutions into inclusive spaces. The "100 under $100" art show is a collection of affordable artworks by a wide range of artists worldwide and an opportunity not only for emerging artists to showcase their work but for seasoned collectors to acquire one of a kind artwork for less than $100 a piece and support multiple living artists. Unlike other exhibits when a work of art is sold, it will be taken off the virtual wall immediately.
